Associates’ Board

The Swedish Hospital Associates’ Board consists of young professionals who want to make a difference in Swedish Hospital. This dynamic group raises funds, increases public awareness and performs community service.

I have been a member of Associates’ Board for the past four years and president for the past two years. I have been fortunate to develop and strengthen many professional relationships through my association with the Board.  The Associates’ Board is great for young professionals who want to get involved and give back to their communities, while simultaneously growing their professional network.

Fundraising

Associates’ Board Supports the Community Breast Health Program and Restoring Smiles Program

The Swedish Hospital Associates’ Board voted that their 2024 fundraising efforts will support Swedish Hospital’s Community Breast Health Program and Restoring Smiles Program.

Swedish Hospital’s Community Breast Health Program provides mammograms, biopsies, MRIs and ultrasounds for women who are unable to afford them. Through donations from individuals, private foundations and corporations, the program is a live-saving option for thousands of low-income and uninsured women.

The Swedish Hospital Dental Clinic and Restoring Smiles Program was established in 2017 to help uninsured and low-income patients who came to the Emergency Department looking for dental relief. Before the establishment of the dental clinic, patients coming to the Emergency Department with painful dental conditions had nowhere to turn. The Restoring Smiles program also supports patients experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking in partnership with the Pathways Program.
